How did this opportunity come to me? Well that’s quite a story and I am going to share that with you.

{{PART ONE}}

February 10, 2021 my husbands uncle died. It was a really unique, special and intimate experience I was apart of. That night I decided to sign up to become a certified death doula.

Fast forward to April and I received my certification. Within days I had opportunities left and right. Networking events, meetings, clients, etc. I was on cloud 9. While I was on a networking call, I was checking my Facebook page. I saw a friend ask a question about what “win we can celebrate for you”. So I shared my recent accomplishment of my DD certificate. Within moments someone responded asking if I was interested in being apart of a book {insert Sacred Death}.

Writing this chapter has been life changing. For myself and I am pretty sure for anyone that is about to read this book.

My chapter is about my experience with my husbands uncle and how unique, sacred and intimate it was.

With the last year that we had, this topic is something has come up a numerous of times. And it is time to get a better understanding of death, the importance and helpful tools as a caregiver and more!
